Founded in 1986 as a sole proprietorship, Wayneflete was later incorporated under the laws of the state of California and has been doing business as a corporation since January 1, 2006.

LINDA PATTEN

Wayneflete Inc. is ably managed by President and CEO Linda Patten, who founded the company in 1986.

Linda has been in the association and conference management business for the last eighteen years, and has 30 years of experience in every aspect of human resources, business, and conference management.

She is a member of Meeting Professionals International, through which she earned her Certification in Meeting Management. She is also a member of the Professional Conference Management Association, the American Society of Association Executives, CalSAE, and the California Association for Nonprofits.

Linda is accomplished in performance consulting, professional skills development, supervisory and management development, group facilitation, and training delivery and design. An experienced planner and administrator, Linda’s particular strengths are most evident in her effective communication style, her entrepreneurial mindset, and her ability to anticipate or quickly resolve the problems often encountered in conference planning and administration.

Prior to founding Wayneflete, Inc. Linda spent sixteen years in human resources development, managing professionals in all aspects of human resources, public affairs, and facilities support. She designed performance process improvement interventions including training curricula in sales and sales management, general management and communications skills, problem solving and decision making, project management, productivity and quality improvement.

Her significant experience includes managing the California Banking Group Training Department for Crocker National Bank, and, as an independent contractor, consulting and training for clients such as Hewlett-Packard, Oracle, Sun Micro­systems, U.S. West, Bayer, Solutia, Inc., GenProbe, The San Francisco Airport, and Procter & Gamble.

Linda holds a bachelor of arts in Economics/Sociology from St. Olaf College in Minnesota as well as a bachelor of science in Nursing from St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. She earned her MBA from Southern Methodist University, in Organizational Behavior/Management.

Joan Streegan
As the Director of Sales and Marketing for all the divisions of Wayneflete, Inc., Joan brings extraordinary people and selling skills to Wayneflete.

Joan managed and expanded a large, high profile orthopaedic surgery practice in San Francisco for 30 years, effectively using her masters degree in clinical psychology there and in a private counseling setting.

Both her clinical experience and her experience working with elite members of society and the entertainment field give her a unique ability to think outside- the- box, read people, quickly identify a need, and find the solution.  Joan has a keen eye for detail and gives Wayneflete a strong platform for providing insightful, customized services for each individual client with grace and professionalism.

Lindsay Gower
Lindsay has been writing since 3rd grade—professionally for the last three decades. For Wayneflete’s clients, she provides content for marketing collateral, for blog postings and social media sites, and for newsletter articles and email blasts.

She also writes Web site content, for which she synthesize technical, instructional information with the ever-important marketing message. She has the experience to develop the site’s content, find its best tone; and structure it for ease of navigation as well as search engine optimization.

Nathan James
Nate has over 20 years of experience providing total IT support for computers, networks and servers—support which he provides with integrity and patience. Nate’s capabilities include:

Gail Nott
Gail Nott, a specialist in social media, manages social media and internet marketing campaigns for Wayneflete’s clients. With her 12 years experience in Web site user interface design, Web programming, SEO, and social media strategies, Gail has extraordinary depth and breadth of skills and experience.

Gail helps Wayneflete turn our clients’ goals into actionable plans and marketing strategies that pay off. With Gail’s coaching, our clients learn how to focus their social networking efforts to develop “speed of Internet” marketing.

Doug Silva
Doug Silva, a talented graphic designer, brings fresh ideas to Wayneflete’s clients’ projects. He translates concepts and ideas into powerful, creative marketing communications pieces.

Doug has over 13 years of experience creating and producing a wide range of communication materials across multiple types of media.
